Using the universal red, yellow and green commands, the ShowerMinder prompts the user to shower in a specified time frame (3, 5, or 8 minutes.) Shorter shower times save thousands of gallons of water per household, by encouraging and timing shorter showers resulting in lower water and heating bills.
